Check out this poster for Nigella Lawson’s new US show.

The new poster for US tv show “The Taste”.

Now look closer at Nigella’s tummy. See it? Just under that (fabulous) tight red dress? That right there is a female stomach. It goes out a bit. Not in. Just like 98% of women.

Did you know she was 53 years old? And the mother of two kids?

We think she looks sexy as hell.

Except that tummy was supposed to be Photoshopped out. So that women everywhere could look at that poster, see Nigella’s fake, computer-generated body and feel bad about themselves. Like they should keep striving to a physically impossible ideal.

But Nigella, being the fine woman that she is, refused to let them touch her stomach with that airbrush wand of evil. She said:

“Although it was very thrilling to think of being up on a billboard in LA and around the States, I was very strict and English and told them they weren’t allowed to airbrush my tummy out. Wise? Hmmm. But that tum is the truth and is come by honestly, as my granny would have said.”

Thank you Nigella, Queen of Pastry And All Things Delicious, for making women everywhere feel like they can eat actual food even if they have a really tight dress on.
