Mamamia's Voulez Vous Art Project: The Best Of edition.

In March of this year, Mamamia launched something we’re very proud of: The Voulez Vous project.

Each week, we celebrate incredible emerging female artists, performers, designers, illustrators, and creators of beautiful things. We hoped The Voulez Vous project would make the internet a slightly more beautiful, captivating and thought-provoking place, while promoting some amazing talent and beautiful work (and there’s more than a few sales!).

We’ve featured some incredible artists so far, and this week we’d like to look back on some of our favourites.

Anya Brock, creator of big, bright and courageous paintings.

Anya originally got her start in the fashion industry, and ran high-end label ANAN for eight years – but while working in London for Christopher Kane and Richard Nicoll she discovered her love of painting. She relocated to Bondi in Sydney in 2013, and continues to paint on both walls and canvases by the beach. See more of Anya’s work here.

Peaches and Keen (also known as Lily Daley and Lucy Hearn).

Peaches and Keen are a Melbourne-based art duo, who transform their love of all things brightly coloured into one-off items; they’ve made everything from jewellery to prints and more. See more of Peaches and Keen’s work here.

Claire Primrose, landscape artist.

Claire Primrose is an artist based in NSW, who expresses herself both through painting and drawing. At first, her drawings and paintings might seem to be quite different, but they both share a common link: Primrose draws inspiration from the landscape. Check out her work here.

Zeke’s Lunchbox, our first featured artist.

Zeke’s Lunchbox is a Sydney-based artist who creates every-type-of-media artworks, street art, accessories and more. The depth and breadth of her work defies categorisation, and could probably be best described as extraterrestrial, toxic-mutant character studies. See more of her work here.

Monday’s Child, the Perth artist who can tell a story with no words at all.

Monday’s Child is a Perth-based artist who is inspired by folk tales and mythology. She uses pens and watercolours to create her works; illustrations and portraits, which have quite distinct styles. See more of her work here.

Belinda Stanton, meal-time fun maker.

Belinda Stanton is a mum and a ceramic artist who makes sculptures and household items alike featuring cute, quirky characters. See more of her work here.
