As one half of the all-star cast from Dumb and Dumber you wouldn’t exactly expect comedian Jim Carrey to be full of academic wisdom.

I've seen all of this speech and it's inspirational - fantastic for students everywhere.
As an artist famous for his goofy characters, he's risen to the occasion in nailing that "thing" that's so important to those full of doubt.
And he seems so grateful & kind............it should be played in all high schools & colleges.
