There’s a free “Mirror” application for your iMac that utilizes the camera. Google it. It’ll even let you flip the image so it’s actually a mirror image. Just a -for what it’s worth-

I think we need to set ourselves the personal challenge of reducing our own vanity. Vanity makes people ugly.

When I need to to check all is in order before leaving the house. No vegemite on my face etc. But when I was younger, slimmer, single and far more attractive? All the frickin’ time. With all the free time I have now that I don’t spend ages posturing in the mirror, I have now earned a second degree and written a novel.

All the frikkin time! Every time I walk past a photo hanging in the hallway at work I check myself out in the glass reflection… Cant help it!

At my old house I used to have a really flattering mirror with amazingly alluring lighting in my bedroom. I’d do my make up and hair and then check myself out before going out – I’d literally get a crush on myself because I looked so “breath taking” (in my head).

So I’d be rocking it down the street, high fiving myself and avoiding eye contact with passing men in case they accidentally fell in love with me. Then I’d catch a glance in a shop window…and realise I looked washed out,frumpy, haggard, with bags under my eyes and dirty hair. Dammit! Why must reality exist?? My dream world with my amazingly deceptive mirror was so very nice!
