Teaching your child to speak can be hard enough, especially when it comes to those ‘difficult to say’ words.
Like ‘fish’. Think about it. That’s a tough one to say when all you’ve got so far is ‘mum’ and ‘dad’…
Take a look. This is definitely not your average ‘cute baby’ video.
Needless to say, it made us melt.
As a child, did you have trouble saying any particular words? What was your first word? What was your baby’s first word?

My daughter’s first word was book – which we thought was absolutely delightful, until she became completely obsessed demanding 20 or more books a day!

My 20 month old’s favourite toy at the moment is my old Tonka truck. He can’t say “tr”, it comes out as an “f”!

Ha!
My daughter did something very similar, but with truck – it didn’t help that she did it while visiting the grandparents, and not only did my laugh, he encouraged her to repeat it. (She was a bit older than this baby though, so she looked for the encouragement)
To his credit, he did teach her “semi” and “lorry” as alternatives…back at the airport for our trip home though, she spotted an av fuel truck…and everyone within fifty metres heard her very excitedly point it out. Ooops. Got a very dirty look from one little old lady though.

Very funny, however a little warning of the content would have been nice (unless I missed it!) not too pleased about watching it with my 5 yr old…but that’s my fault, I should have viewed it first…oh dear

The warning was in the title.

On the home page next to this story there is a picture of a baby that looks SO MUCH like my baby son that I thought perhaps somehow a photo of him had been stolen off Facebook & put into one of those stock photo services. I have since realised I do not actually have a photo quite like that one, but it is freaky how much he looks like my son!

Then your son is adorable!
