Five signs you might benefit from seeing a psychologist.

It’s probably safe to say most of us know when we need to see a doctor, and do so without too much doubt or hesitation.

Our mental health is just as important as our physical health, yet many of us are far less certain about the signs and symptoms that warrant attention from a trained professional — partly because these indicators aren’t always visible or immediately obvious, even to ourselves.

Despite what popular belief suggests, you don’t need to be living with a diagnosed mood disorder or mental illness to reach out to a psychologist.

There’s absolutely no shame in seeking help and there’s no concern or feeling too insignificant.

In this Ask the Expert video, Clinical Psychologist and Director of My Life Psychologists Tal Schlosser lays out five of the most common signs you might benefit from speaking to a psychologist.
