She sold her virginity. But she's still a virgin. Impressive.

Oh, the Internet. It just never stops giving.

And it’s really outdone itself this time, with the story of Catarina Migliorini; also known as The Girl Who Will One Day Pay Off Several Houses In The Hamptons With Her Virginity Money.

That’s right. 21-year-old Catarina tried to sell off her virginity last year, but it didn’t work out so well. So she’s having a red hot go at a new auction. On her website – which also features a three-minute video of her dancing the tango on a clifftop, dressed in lingerie – she explains the situation.

Essentially, Catarina was originally supposed to film a documentary called “Virgins Wanted”, through which her virginity would be auctioned. Filmmaker Justin Sisely also arranged to film a boy named Alex, whose virginity was being auctioned too.

This whole selling-virginity thing is already so many shades of wrong… and it gets worse. Because a man named Natsu won the auction for Catarina – successfully bidding US $780,000 for the pleasure of popping her cherry.

But then they met up, and things got pear-shaped. As Catarina herself says:

I met Natsu in a restaurant in Sydney. He was not a man of 53 years as the Justin said; he was young Japanese 21 years. I was surprised and did not believe in that situation and there was no agreement between the young Japanese and me. Days before the meeting I consulted an Australian lawyer who guided me very well about the entire situation. I was not alone in our appointment.

So… in conclusion… she’s still a virgin. And has started her own website, offering her virginity up to men AND women. So far, the highest bid is for $120,000. But there are still (at the time of writing) 14 days of the auction left, so hey – Catarina might just reach her goal of US $1.5million.

She writes on her site:

I am still a virgin in every way and all the evidence, so, I never have had any sexual involvement and no one in this whole world can claim otherwise, and so I decided to make my own website to auction off my virginity and that time will be for real, so men or women who are interested can make their bids.

The good news (insert sarcasm font here), is that she’s writing a book about all her exploits, so at least we will all be able to read it and weep about the fact that there is someone out there who is willingly to fork out such a huge amount of cash to someone who is evidently just seeking her five minutes of fame – and using her vagina in order to get it.

And in the meantime, we can look at all the Playboy covers she’s doing…
