An explosive Roxy Jacenko biography is set to be published and she is furious.

The past year for Roxy Jacenko hasn’t been easy.

Her husband was sent to jail for insider trading, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and battles the daily hardships of being a single mum.

On top of that, reports are confirming that an explosive biography on Jacenko’s life will hit shelves soon.

The book is already available for pre-purchase for $32.99, with the publisher’s website describing Roxy as a “PR maverick. Relentless self-promoter. Perfumed steamroller. Force of nature. Momager”.

But the book Blonde Ambition – Roxy Jacenko Unfiltered has already hit some roadblocks with the original author pulling out.

Political journalist, Margot Saville, was the first person tasked to take on Jacenko’s life but she was reportedly unwilling to cooperate with her whatsoever.

Despite the publisher finding another author, Annette Sharp, Jacenko has already told the Daily Mail that she has zero time for the book.

“[I] have had little to no contact from any of the enlisted writers since being made aware of the book and publisher’s intentions some two months ago via a media enquiry about my thoughts regarding it unbeknownst to me!” she said.

“I have no intention to participate.”

With these type of comments coming from Jacenko, it doesn’t help that the book’s new author has previously faced criticism from the PR star.

Sharp published an article earlier this year claiming that Gretel Packer, daughter of the famous Kerry Packer, was very unhappy with her daughter’s association with Jacenko.

At the time, Jacenko slammed the article, calling Sharp “ill-informed”.

Sharp has been given just a seven-week deadline to turn the book around, but as the Sydney Morning Herald writes, plenty of the research is already available.

The originally author, Saville, had hoped she would be able to actually speak to the PR guru.

“I’ve been researching her and ringing around. I’m interested in talking to people who do know her professionally and personally and finding out what her modus operandi is,” Saville said last month.

When talking to the Daily Telegraph, Saville said she had been watching Jacenko’s life for a while now.

“There’s this whole new world of people who are famous on social media. Her success and her high profile – what does this say about a new generation of women? It’s not just about her, it’s about us as a society as well.”

Saville had promised she didn’t intend for the biography to be a one-sided account, building Jacenko up or tearing her down.

“It’s not going to to be a hagiography and it’s not going to be a hatchet job – I’m hoping it will be a well-rounded book.”

An exclusive interview with Jacenko will air this Sunday on 60 Minutes, which already appears to be a showdown on her breast cancer diagnosis and knowledge of her husband’s crimes.
