We need a 'Romy And Michele's High School Reunion' reunion. Stat.

Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion.

One of the great cinematic gifts to have come out of the ’90s.

And Romy Mira Sorvino just hinted that there could be… A Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion Reunion.

Sorvino (who plays Romy/ invented post-its) just revealed that she and co-star Lisa Kudrow (Michele) are interested in a sequel to the 1997 comedy in which they performed what is widely regarded the greatest interpretive dance performance committed to film.

Sorvino, who delivers the film’s immortal line about inventing Post-Its, told E! Online, “Me and Lisa and Robin [Schiff, who wrote the original screenplay] would love to do a sequel. We have asked Disney before. It’s Disney that has to decide to say yes.”

She said, “I don’t think they realise what a cult phenomenon it has become. I mean people dress up as us for Halloween. Come on Disney – everybody wants it!”

We couldn’t agree more.

COME ON DISNEY.

Hollywood has pushed an absurd number of reboots, sequels, prequels and spin-offs onto us over the past decade; is it really going to hurt to do one more?

Surely, the world could use more of this:

Share this far and wide, so we can demand a Romy and Michele sequel.

We all know it needs to happen.
