The Chinese are developing a train that never needs to stop, and doesn’t include people chasing a moving carriage down the platform.
It’s actually really freaking clever, and when you see how it works, makes an awful lot of sense:

Passengers a board a capsule that sits suspended next to a platform. This passenger capsule is collected (without stopping) by a moving train below . As the fast constant train approaches the destination platform it releases/unlocks the passenger capsule and continues on. The passenger capsule slides into the destination platform. Unless its just designed for the main routes, passengers would still be switching to different capsules for different destination stations or waiting within the capsule for the next transporting train.
I don't get it.
