It’s awkward enough when your phone rings during a film, so just imagine the embarrassment of US Senator Pat Roberts when his phone interrupted a senate hearing last week.

Not tired of it yet? 9 epic “Let It Go” covers to celebrate Frozen’s win at the Oscars.

It didn’t help that Roberts ringtone was “Let It Go”, the hit song from Disney’s Frozen.

Now let’s all take a moment to appreciate the fact that the ringtone of this 78-year-old Republican from Kansas was a song — albeit a catchy one — from a children’s film. Bless.

Roberts later tweeted the song was #forthegrandkids.

Watch him scramble to turn his phone off as he urges his fellow senators just to “let it go”.
