As if squats aren’t punishing enough.

A Boston woman is in a coma after her massive bum implants exploded while she was doing squats at the gym.

Serena Beuford, 27, had implants that gave her a 162.5 cm bum. Beuford’s sister told local news WOAI that she’d had the implants in the hopes of becoming Instagram famous:

According to another gym-goer at the scene of the bum explosion, there was a loud ‘pop’, then Beuford screamed that her bum was gone before passing out:

“I heard a loud popping noise followed by the woman falling to the floor. She was screaming my ass is gone!!!; I had no idea what she was talking about until I saw her cushion like butt missing when EMS took her out the gym. She used to always show off her butt in the gym and tried to get guys attention with her work outs.”

WOAI reports that Beuford will require surgery, as the implants bursting caused extensive damage to her rectum, colon and lower intestines.

Beuford had the implants inserted at an unlicensed clinic, which is now under investigation.

People really need to stop letting randoms insert dodgy stuff into their bums. Just sayin’.
