She has better clothes than you, a nicer car, and over 700k followers.
Yes. Barbie. The disproportionally perfect, plastic play-thing that filled your childhood has a page where she shares here ‘fashion choices’ and ‘daily adventures’. Mmmhm.
While you’re at the office, walking the dogs, saving lives or picking up Fred from grandma’s house, chances are Barbie is doing something way more exciting than you. Or rather, some dude named Herman is struggling to get her tiny plastic feet into the perfect tiny plastic shoes in order to position her as though she is at a ‘business meeting.’

So you don’t miss out on the action packed life of everyone’s favourite plastic model/vet/singer/fighter pilot, we’ve compiled a list of the 8 times that Barbie’s Instagram was the weirdest thing on the internet.
1. That time she went to Coachella.
Along with every superstar and irritatingly beautiful person in the world, Barbie attended the world’s coolest music festival last week.
Well, as a doll at a music festival at least she wouldn’t have to worry about the toilet queues.
2. Hanging out with real people at Paris Fashion Week.
Actual people, smiling, pretending to talk to a doll while someone takes a photo in order to share it with thousands of people.
I just… I can’t… Oh bless.
3. Going for runs.
Is this supposed to make me feel like a terrible person? Because it does.
Like it’s not hard enough do drag my head and its accompanying drool off the pillow to go to the gym in the morning, I now have to be guilted into it by a DOLL! Her knees don’t even bend and she can do it. Jesus.
Also, she’s lost the cap on the water bottle. Also: She has a water bottle.
4. She took her dog for a walk.
In a dress and heals.

I'm 43, have zero interest in my own wardrobe, but suddenly have an overwhelming desire to dress Barbie up for a night on the town, or send her to the beach in a bikini, or choose between a skirt and dress for elegant daywear. Oh Barbie, I miss you!
I never had Barbie (for no particular reason) and my daughter had one (until she cut its hair and lost it in the sandpit) so I was gratified to see that some of the pics seem to have somewhat smaller chests than I remember. 'Flat shoe Barbie' is a nice option too.
