The winter dress Aussie celebrities are loving right now.

Fact: dressing for winter doesn’t always feel quite as fun as summer fashion does.

There are more practical considerations at play – i.e. will this outfit leave me with frostbite? – and the colour palette tends to be far more muted.

However, two of your favourite Aussie celebs have been repping a wintery dress that manages to be both covered and fun.

Say hello to the Sibi dress by Rodeo Show ($269). It’s lovely, yes?

We first spotted the dress on Carrie Bickmore during Tuesday night’s episode of The Project, teamed with a pair of Jolie & Deen earrings:

Then, less than 24 hours later, the very same dress popped up in our Instagram feeds courtesy of Anna Henrich of The Bachelor fame.

The recently engaged lawyer decided to accessorise hers with some delightful autumn leaves, which we can all agree was a wise choice:

Obviously, bare legs won’t cut the mustard as we get closer to winter’s freezing core, but this dress will look equally lovely with stockings, ankle boots and a coat.

There’s a lot to love about this dress – from the sheer, polka-dotted overlay and slightly billowed long sleeves to the ruffle and the cute swishy skirt (swishiness is very important, you see).

The deep wine colour is just the cherry on top, though the dress does also come in black.

Speaking of wine, this is one outfit that’s conservative enough to wear to the office – according to Rodeo Show, it has traces of “Victorian glamour” – and fancy enough for drinking mulled wine at a bar afterwards.

Win win.
