Rob Mills has his say about Paris Hilton pretending not to remember him in one single word.

When Paris Hilton appeared on The Project last month, it possibly went down as one of the most cringe-worthy moments on TV. It was a classic case of hosts trying to be a little bit funny and then the joke falling awfully flat. Or, for Paris Hilton, not even understanding who she was being asked about.

For those who don’t remember, panelist Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald first asked the 35-year-old if she was single (just asking for mates, of course). According to Hilton, she was “very single” at the time.

Unfortunately, it didn’t end there when Fitzy further probed her about whether she was talking to Millsy, a.k.a. Rob Mills. No one better than Hilton herself sums up how dumbstruck she was at the question:

All the socialite and businesswoman could get out was, "No". And then she shrugged. End of scene. Very awkward.

Since the somewhat catastrophic interview aired, Mills has remained silent on the issue until last night on the red carpet of the AACTA awards.

According to the Daily Mail, when the 34-year-old was questioned about Hilton by Yahoo 7 all he said was, "Who?"

Hilton and Mills first met in 2003 when she travelled to Australia for the Melbourne Cup.

At the time, both of them were attending an Australian Idol after party hosted by Osher Gunsberg, when Mill spotted Hilton wearing about "eight square inches of clothing".

Speaking to Em Rusciano on her podcast, he said they didn't have sex but her vagina was in the "top five".

The next morning, he was photographed on the balcony of her hotel room and they spent the next two weeks together. When she returned the following year, they hooked up again but soon broke up.
