Is this the worst act of revenge ever?

.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold. Or, in this case, in the dentist’s chair while your ex-boyfriend is under anesthetic and completely unable to object when you pull out all of his teeth.

A Polish woman, also a dentist, is facing jail after the man she used to love booked in for surgery just days after he dumped her and she gave him a little more than he bargained for.

Yes, they’d just broken up. These things are often difficult and terrible and emotional. We get that. No doubt he understood that too.

But she’s a dentist, you know? A professional.

He never thought the following would happen:

[Anna Mackowiak] gave him a heavy dose of anaesthetic and plucked his teeth out.

She then wrapped his head and jaw in a bandage to stop him opening his mouth and said there had been complications and he would need to see a specialist.

The dentist, who works in Wroclaw, Poland, said: ‘I tried to be professional and detach myself from my emotions.

‘But when I saw him lying there I just thought, “What a b******”.’

Marek Olszewski said: “I knew something was wrong because when I woke up I couldn’t feel any teeth and my jaw was strapped up with bandages.”

“She told me my mouth was numb and I wouldn’t be able to feel anything for a while and that the bandage was there to protect the gums, but that I would need to see a specialist.

“I didn’t have any reason to doubt her, I mean I thought she was a professional.”

His new girlfriend has now reportedly left him because she can’t be with someone who has no teeth.

Ouch.

This is an extreme case but it raises the prickly question of relationship meltdown and acts of revenge – big and small.

Speaking of revenge, here’s a rather funny song about break-up revenge. But a word of advice, we certainly do not suggest you do this. Like, ever.

Is seeking revenge ever OK or are you more the ‘move on and forget’ type?
