One couple in the US have spent nine months working on a novel way of announcing the birth of their baby girl to the world.
The 90 second time-lapse video captures the progress of the woman’s belly from the moment the couple discovered they were pregnant – illustrated with a high five – to the birth of their daughter, Amelie Amaya.
The couple have been showered with compliments on their YouTube channel including this one from user, Britbrit910111, “Everything about this video is perfect including little baby Amelie!!!! This is wonderful. My children were born in the days when you took a photo and saved up to get the film developed and that usually took at least 3 days if you were lucky! There was the anxious wait to see if they “turned out” and the disappointed if they did not because the moment had passed. I love the times we live in. What a beautiful gift for their daughter. Although my children tell me they treasure the album of photos and momentos I made for them, I wish I could have done something as special as this.

oh that’s so sad! a friend in my mum’s group’s house was broken in to, and her laptop stolen with all her photos of her first born. unfortunately she hadn’t backed them up. she was devastated!
