Do You Like This Story?

This one you may have heard, but we were struck by the thought it’s been a few years since this went viral and it deserves a second burst. Mostly because it’s brilliant. Partly because it’s so frightfully accurate.

That’s comedian Anita Renfroe doing the tongue-twisting ditty (it’s sung to the tune of the William Tell Overture).

Can you relate?

Maybe because it presents a quiet depressing view of motherhood? I didn’t really like it either, not my kind of humor.

    Incredible!
Was hard to hear some of the things she said because it was quite quick, but sounded a lot like some of the things my mother used to say. :)

There is another lady who does the song who has put the words up at the same time – just google the Mum song on YouTube and I think it’s the first one.

Does anyone know if there is an app that can allow flash files to be seen on iPad? I heard that one was available but can’t locate. Recommendations appreciated…

Well thankyou for reminding me of the one phrase that’s not in the video that should be “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”.

Nah. I’m a mum of 2 and that’s not my day, not even close. Very impressive though how she managed to get through the whole thing without stuffing up.
