I’m not taking the shoes literally, I’m thinking that’s just a styling thing, but even without them, this ad for Beyonce’s House of Dereon clothing line for Girls? Got me a little unsettled.

hodgirls Girls will be girls. Except when they’re 6 and trying to be Beyonce.

You have got to be flaming kidding. There is NO way I will have my daughter dressed like that. Anyway, that mother of Beyonce should just give up entirely, I can only imagine what a huge sigh of relief Kelly Rowland heaved when she no longer had to wear those ridiculous outfits.

This just looks tacky. While I think it’s nice for little girls to have clothes that do have a touch of current fashion about them, this sort of thing is just plain “trailer trashy”. Not nice at all.

can’t we just let kids be kids?! forget the make up and fancy clothes – run around outside! play in dirt!
my kids live in mostly “recycled” clothes from older cousins – they grow out of things that quickly and get that filthy it seems crazy to have designer threads – and anyway, they aren’t old enough to be fussy yet.
6 years old and dressing like Beyonce?? oh please.
