I’ve been really pleased with the results of using Aveeno Positively Radiant. I’m 34 have always had large pores/blackheads but maybe its the age thing lately it has been looking blotchy as well.
I’ve had comments from friends who have noticed my skin looks clearer – couple have asked if I’ve been for a facial. So thank you very much for allowing me to be part of the trial – Aveeno will have a very loyal customer now.

I have quite heavy pigmentation issues, so I cant say that Ive seen a difference, maybe this is better for people with mildly uneven skintones/blotchiness. Unfortunately no comments on my skin yet..!

I have noticed that my face is more smooth and clear, and there is less redness. Nobody else has noticed though, or if they have they haven’t said anything! I wouldn’t expect my husband or friends to comment on that sort of thing anyway.

My skin is not really that blotchy so I haven’t really noticed a difference there. But there is a huge difference that I’ve noticed over the last week or so in the texture of my skin. My skin used to feel bumpy and congested, and I honestly thought there was nothing I could do to my skin to change that. But I guess because of the combination of the scrub and the moisturiser that’s almost completely gone. It feels SO much better.

I’ve found that this moisturiser does make my skin look less blotchy / red. There’s no greasy look or feel, and I’m using at as a primer. So, because I wear foundation, no one has commented on any apparent change in my skin – but, it’s far more important that I’M happy with it!!! And I am. As a serial product trialler, I’m hoping to stay put with this range. I went and bought the body wash and I think it helps to keep my skin moisturised. Happy camper over here.

I didnt have brown spots to be diminished but i do think my skintone it a bit more even/less blotchy.
Im not sure if my friends and family noticed the change but i have found people i see a bit less often definitely comment my skin is looking clearer and lovely.

I have definitely noticed a difference in the blotichiness of my skin – it is reducing and my skin tone is becoming more even. It’s a not dramatic enough for friends and family to notice, but it is enough to make me feel a bit better about my skin.

I have noticed definitely that some red scarring and sunspots have diminished since using the scrub and the moisturiser. no one else has noticed, but i’ve felt my skin is clearer and healthier/younger looking – less clogged and congested!

The packaging is really good – small and easy to carry with you and the pump efficiently delivers the right amount (2 pumps) for my face. It absorbs really quickly into my skin and my skin feels nourished immediately and for the most part of the rest of the day.

I find the moisturiser easy to apply and I love the pump, as it allows me to only use a measured amount – one squirt is more than enough for my face. It absorbs nicely and my skin feels smooth and soft afterwards.

I find the application of the moisturiser easy. It is not too thick condisering it contains an SPF, and the pump pack seems to deliver just the right amount of product. As for the instant radiance from the light diffusers, I find that I don’t see them on my face but I do see them leftover on my fingers after I have applied the moisturiser.

The pump pack is very easy and convenient to apply, and so far hasn’t leaked once and because of the plastic bottle probably won’t break – very important things when I lug it around in my gym bag all day!

I love the product – love the pump, makes application so easy and I’m not wasting it as I can do with other brands which come in the bottle.
It’s rich and creamy, but doesn’t get greasy which is fantastic as I don’t have a huge amount of time in the mornings in between applying it, putting on my makeup and then heading out the door.
I LOVE the small – smells like summer to me, it must be the added sunscreen. Which is SUCH a bonus, as I don’t normally remember to apply any.

As I mentioned previously the application is easy because of the pump so the moisturiser isn’t being wasted. Also I think for a product with SPF it absorbs quickly and feels light on the skin. I really enjoy this product and people who have used it, I shared my sample really love it

I’m still totally loving it and i’ve only heard positive things from the friends i gave samples too.
Personally i like the fact i can layer it, if its particularly old and dry and windy, i can put on a bit more, or if im indoors all day with heating or aircon.
The SPF is just great, because otherwise i’d NEVER put sunscreen on my face.

I think I commented previously that I thought at first I needed to use more than normal to feel adequately moisturised but now in the dyer months I am finding it feels great, I like feeling like I’m wearing lots because my skin feels so dry at the moment. I don’t wear foundation during the day so I’ve never found I’ve had to wait longer than usual – also I always use the rule to wait 10 mins before applying makeup and by then it’s always completely absorbed!

At first I found the SPF cream a little greasy and thick, but after a while I have gotten used to it and now we are really getting into the dry winter weather, I find it keeps me nice and moisturised throughout the day. I really don’t like the smell though and I do find I need to wait a little longer than usual to put on my makeup.

I usually use Olay Total Effects and compared to that the Aveeno moisturiser is not as thick and greasy and goes on very smooth. The only drawback for me is that the SPF is only 15 when my normal moisturiser is 30 plus – surely an important requirement for the Australian sun!

The scrub is great. It’s gentle enough to use everyday and makes my skin feel really soft. It’s probably the gentlest scrub I’ve ever used.
THe moisturiser feels much less greasy and heavy than other ones with sunscreen in them. The weather where I am just got a whole lot colder though and some days I feel the need to top up the moisturiser by the afternoon though.
I’ll definitely buy both products again.

There is no smell, which takes a bit of getting used to – part of me likes that there’s nothing clashing with my perfume when I lather it on in the morning, the other part of me wishes there was a light fragrance to get more senses involved.
Very rich on the skin, and leaves skin really soft and dewey without greasy or oily.
I have noticed that I have to wait quite awhile before applying makeup though – it doesn’t absorb into the skin as quickly as my regular facial moisturiser.

The Aveeno products compare very favourably to other products I have used. Love the scrub – I am a bit of a scrub fan in general, and this one is great. Makes my skin feel and look great. The moisturiser is probably a bit creamier/heavier than I would normally go for. With oily/combination skin that still breaks out sometimes, I usually choose very light moisturisers. But I am liking the Aveeno product, the pump dispenser allows me to only use a small amount and one pump is just right for my face.

I have to say that given it is a supermarket brand I had fairly low expectations … how wrong I was. Like others have commented I think the scrub outperforms the moisturiser. I have had a couple of friends ask what I have done to my skin it looks so much clearer and I’ve happily told them why. The scrub really has cleared up some of the blackheads that constantly bother me. The moisturiser is great – doesn’t react with my foundation like the last one I bought. It makes my skin feel soft and hydrated. I will definitely continue to buy the products when my trial runs out.

Like a lot of others I love love love the cleanser. I will absolutely get it again – it makes me skin feel so fresh, and it isn’t abrasive at all. The granules seem to be finer than other ones I have used.
I do like the moisurizer but after the first week I stopped using it daily because sometimes it does feel quite heavy compared to others. While my skin eventually does drink it, I have to work a little harder at getting it on. It doesn’t feel as nice to apply as say a Clinque one I’ve used.

First impressions were great, loved the packaging especially the pump bottle. The body moisturizer is good, as is the scrub, with nice fine granules. I was only able to use the facial moisturizer once though, as it made my sensitive skin break out in a rash, sadly.

I have to say that the Aveeno moisturizer performs just as well for me (as a basic moisturizer/added glow/SPF/etc) as high-end brands like Clinique or Clarins. My skin is very \”settled\” with this cream — it doesn’t breakout, get too oily, or stay too dry. My only complaint is that it’s SPF 15. In North America, they are selling this as SPF 30 (I just bought this very moisturizer while on holiday in March), so why on earth wouldn’t they do that here in Australia of all places? We are so behind the times in terms of products in general, and this is a prime example. C’mon Aveeno (and Neutrogena, and Olay, and almost every other daily moisturizer that skimps along with SPF 15)!

I know that you guys probably wont lisetn to this, but I have to point this out. Over all, great podcast, but on the topic of maxing out the skill tree: Even if some one fully maxed out all of the skill tree, there are still two restrictions1) max skill tree is 100% and not 110% (from what I heard earlier int he cast i know its an assumption but its a good one)2) Or, mechs still are restricted by Moduals. So even if you unlock *everything* in all the skilltrees, you wont be able to utilize all of it, mechs only have so many modual slots which is how pilots interact with their mechs. I dont think it makes sens that they will have a cap or only allow you to max out one skill tree, it would make it very hard to a player to dual roll. meaning: you get into a room that is all scouts and commanders, and you have no assaults, it is going to be very hard for one of those scouts or commanders to change rolls. : \ then you are just hosed. So yes, the game is roll’ warfare based, but I highly doubt that a mech will be able to do all rolls’ and it will take time and efort to max out all skill trees. Trying to figure out how to word what is in my head Essentially, even if you put the time and effort into maxing out all skilltrees, you wont be able to use all of them, but the option is there for you to swap over if you are needed to fill a different rolle.

These products compare v v v favourably! I’ve been so happy with all three – radiant moisturiser, scrub and 24 hour moisturiser that I bought the body wash. My skin is so beautifully hydrated despite the chilly winter weather. The facial moisturiser gives me a dewy look that’s not oily and is a great substitute for primer (I got that idea from other posters and completely agree). The scrub is better than the Clarins orange scrub I’ve been using, and less harsh than the Burts Bees scrub (I’ll religate that to a weekly scrub now). My skin feels beautifully soft and clean, but not stripped and dry. The 24 hour moisturiser is, hands down, the only one that sinks in so quickly and lasts so long. I’ve used Body Shop, Burt’s Bees, Clarins etc… but they often make your legs feel akin to having fake tan on (which is fine unless you’re straight off to bed, in which case it just feels weird.) This moisturiser actually feels as if it’s not there within seconds – to the point where I wondered if it would do anything…..oh yeah, it did something! It moisturised my dry old legs brilliantly.
The fact that this is a natural product, that can be bought at the supermarket makes it my choice from here on in – I’ll be purchasing once my trial pack runs out.

So…. I have been using the Aveeno products for the few weeks now and have the following comments:
Face Scrub = EXCELLENT!! one of the best I have used and I will definitely continue to buy this. I can safely use it daily and it does not dry your skin. I love the micro particles and find they leave my skin feeling clean and soft.
Moisturiser = OK. Whilst it does leave your skin feeling incredibly soft, I do not like the glittery bits it leaves on your skin…. it comes off on your hands and makes me feel like I am wearing cheap makeup! It is not a very rich moisturiser, but I understand some people prefer a lighter creme.
Body Moisturiser = BEST EVER. Hands down, this is the best body moisturiser I have ever used and will definitely buy it again. When it says it moisturises for 24 hours, they arent lying. It has a pleasant almondy fragrance and I even use it on my toddler. It leaves your skin with a lovely sheen and is perfect for the coming winter months.
