Singer Mariah Carey‘s ex-husband, Nick Cannon, is expecting his third child — this time with “beauty queen” Brittany Bell.
While the pair dated last year, they are not currently a couple. However Cannon, 36, spoke to US radio network Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club about the impending arrival.
“I’ve got a baby on the way,” she said.
“God said be fruitful and multiply. I’m doing the Lord’s work … everybody get a baby! I’m passing them out.”
The mother-to-be took to Instagram to share her ever-growing belly.
The upcoming birth will make baby number three for Cannon – and a new half-sibling for his two children from his previous marriage with Carey: five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.
Cannon and Carey split in 2014 after marrying six years earlier.
Cannon claims he was none-the-wiser to the fact that Carey, 46, and casino mogul James Packer had ended their relationship.
“Is she (single now)? You know better than me!”
“I thought they were working it out … I’m on a need to know basis. As long as my kids are good, I see them on weekends…”
“I don’t want to know none of that other stuff. If it gets to that point [of marriage], like, we had those conversations, but after that, I don’t really need to be involved in it.”
Following their break up, rumours surfaced that Carey planned to charge Packer an “inconvenience fee” of tens of millions of dollars.
When asked if Carey requested $50 million from him after their own divorce, Cannon responded, “No. I ain’t no billionaire.”
