Update:
A Florida woman’s claim to have had a third breast surgically added has been exposed as an elaborate scam.
Rumours the story was a hoax began circulating yesterday, including on website Snopes, but Florida’s 10 News conclusively outed 21-year-old Jasmine Tridevil (real name Alisha Hessler) after obtaining a luggage theft report filed at an airport.
In the report, Ms Hessler lists the contents of a bag stolen at the airport, which she said including a $5,000 “3 breast prosthesis”.
Hats off to all our readers who smelled something fishy about this story — and to Ms Hessler for excellent hoaxing.

That may all sound pretty ordinary — except Jasmine claims she has a surgically-added third breast, which she’s hoping will one day star in an MTV reality TV show called Jasmine’s Jugs.
“My main motivation is fame and fortune,” Jasmine (not her real name) says in a YouTube video, claiming she’s already self-produced pilot episodes of the show.
“My whole dream is to get this show on MTV,” she tells Florida station Real Radio 104.1. “I’m dumping every penny I have into this. If this doesn’t work, I’m through.”
Ms Tridevil claims she paid US$20,000 to have the hour-and-a-half surgery — and that her surgeon was so anxious about breaking ethical codes, he made her sign a confidentiality agreement.
“It was really hard finding someone that would do it, too, because they’re breaking the code of ethics,” Tridevil tells Real Radio. “I called like 50 or 60 doctors, nobody wanted to do it.”

I thought everyone had some idea by now that skin stretching takes time, you can't just jam a fake breast in the skin that sits flat on your sternum...
So... besides every other flag... "hour-and-a-half surgery"????
Snopes:
"This type of surgery, the existing anatomy would need to be altered and then a tissue expander wound need to be inserted. The expander would be enlarged with saline and the skin would stretch. This process would take several months. The patient would be in considerable pain. there would be swelling and bruising. The expander would then be removed and an implant inserted into the space. That would take time. A nipple and areola can be made also but would take more time. The overall process can take up to one year to finish."
