I guess it’s important to tell him that everybody is different, and their bodies change at different rates. For some guys, their voice will change before they get pubic hair, for others they’ll get pubic hair first. Some guys will start changing early, some guys will start changing later.
I think it’s also important to say how body changes happen over a lifetime. Lots and lots changes during puberty, but it doesn’t stop there…it just keeps on going.
It’s pretty great that your kids feel confident enough to ask you these questions. I don’t think I ever asked my parents about this stuff.
