I could happily watch Meryl Streep read the phone book. She’s that good an actress and I love watching her growing older beautifully. Her face still moves. Fancy that. Meryl raises an interesting point. Why dont the media ask our ‘leading’ men what they think of plastic surgery (for MEN not WOMEN) and if they have gone under the knife?
I think they should have to under go the scrutiny that our leading women go through.
I have never seen an interview with John, Tom, Michael – or any famous male actor for that matter- where they discuss the pressure to look younger and their thoughts on plastic surgery. Which is quite surprising to me, especially in regards to Michael Douglas, how could a journalist look at him and not be tempted to ask what work he has had done???

Meryl Streep is a legend. She is magnificent. Another two sexy sirens are Goldie Hawn and Susan Sarandon. Have they had anything done? If they have it must have been minimal…they also look amazing…I hope I age as beautifully!

Yep – Meryl Streep is one of the only women in the entire universe who inspires you to ‘keep it real’. She has the most amazing range – comedic and dramatic, and it just wouldn’t be possible without the use of one’s facial muscles! Having said that, she doesn’t have my frownie forehead wrinkles, which I am attempting to disguise with a fringe, because apart from the whiole stigma of botox, I just have a thing about needles. And botulism.
And on a slightly, (but not altogether) different subject, how can we know if Sunday Rose looks more like Keith or Nicole, when even Keith and Nicole don’t look like Keith and Nicole! I’m really happy for them, of course, (probably not a good idea to wet the baby’s head, Keith…), I’m just saying if you change your cute little button nose cosmetically, it’s a bit sad when babies come along and they’re the only ones in the family with any inherited family features!
But back to Meryl. She still looks beautiful, sexy, and kind of soft – in the way that you don’t see much anymore. She’s a sharp chick without a sharp face – something to aspire to.

You’re darn right there, girly. Meryl is one heck of a woman. She’s got bits you want to hold on to. An’ heck she’s even older’n me. No-one wants to kiss them trout lips, catch ‘em with a hook maybe, but not romp up and schmacker ‘em. As for them eye puckers, heck that even ruins the movie star blokes. If I walked into a bar and saw Michael Douglas, why, I wouldn’t know it’s him. What would Kirk think ?
