The teenage girl who just gave the world a shocking insight into life in Gaza right now.

Farah Baker.

Farah Baker is 16 years old.

She has two younger sisters aged 14 and 6, a loving mum, and a father who’s a neurosurgeon.

Farah should be doing her homework or enjoying free time after school with friends — But instead, she fears for her life.

You see, Farah lives in Gaza, where a bloody conflict between Hamas and Israel has reportedly claimed over 1200 lives in just over three weeks, the BBC reports.

On Monday night, the teenager live-tweeted one of the scariest nights she’s ever endured — posting pictures, videos and messages to document a missile attack near her home.

She’s ammased more than 62,000 followers on Twitter since the frightening night, and her moving descriptions of the night’s events — which add a moving, human perspective to the ongoing, deeply complex conflict — have drawn worldwide media coverage.
