Masa Vukotic's mother: "She was our everything."

The mother of Masa Vukotic has spoken about the death of her 17-year-old daughter, Masa.

Natasa Vukotic has broken her silence on the horrific murder of her daughter, Masa Vukotic, in a Melbourne park last week.

The 17-year-old was walking through Doncaster Park near her home when she was fatally stabbed by a random attacker.

“She was our everything.”

Thirty-one year old Melbourne man Sean Price has been charged with her murder.

Masa’s mother has made her first public statement since the death of her daughter.

“The loss of Masa has left a heartache that will never heal, but her love has left us with memories that no one can take from us,” Mrs Vukotic told the Herald Sun.

“Masa has touched so many lives. She was a funny, intelligent and kind-hearted girl. But more than anything else, she was my loving daughter, a caring sister and a wonderful friend.

“She was our everything.”

Masa’s funeral will be held on Thursday, March 26.

The scene of Masa’s killing has become a tribute to the teenager, with flowers and messages appearing in her name.
