After a week of celebrations, fashion editor Kate Waterhouse has married her partner of five years, Luke Ricketson in the Sicilian coastal village of Taormina.

Kate, who is the daughter of racing power couple Gai and Robbie Waterhouse, wore a Vera Wang dress at the ceremony.

Earlier this week Kate told the Sydney Morning Herald: ‘‘I’m so excited, I feel like I’m the luckiest girl in the world to marry Luke. he is everything and more I would want in a man and to have family and friends share our special day in such a beautiful setting is a dream come true.’’

Luke proposed to Kate during her brother Tom’s week-long wedding celebrations last year, which were held in the same Sicilian village.

“We have been visiting Taormina as a family since I was a little girl and it is our favourite place in the he world – so to be married here will forever make it a special place in our hearts,” Kate told the SMH.
