Abaaoud is 27, and was born in Belgium.

He is understood to be alive and operating in Syria, according to sources close to the investigation, and reported by The Mirror UK.

Authorities have revealed they suspect Abaaoud ordered the attack that saw 132 people die on Friday in Paris.

News wires are also reporting France has retaliated last night by dropping 20 bombs on Raqqa, Syria.

Abdelhamid Abaaoud is also believed to be linked to thwarted attacks on a Paris-bound high-speed train and a church in the Paris area, according to intelligence officials.

He is understood to still be at large in Syria.

Authorities have confirmed this morning that five people have been arrested with a rocket launcher being seized in Lyon as France remains on high alert. They have put 104 people under house arrest according to Agence France-Presse after 150 raids last night.

President Hollande vowed to destroy terror group ISIS in the wake of Friday’s attacks, with France dropping 20 bombs on an ISIS stronghold in Raqqa, Syria, last night.

Police are continuing their manhunt to find suspected terrorist Salem Abdeslam, who is believed to be on the run after taking part in the attacks which claimed the lives of 132 people.

Seven people are in custody in Belgium suspected of links to the attacks and an international arrest warrant has been issued for a Belgian-born Frenchman believed to be involved in the attacks.
