During tonight’s episode of My Kitchen Rules, contestant Sarah “Tully” Tully announced she would be eating for two.
The 30-year-old nurse from Queensland discovered she was pregnant mid-way through filming the current season of the show but had to wait for the perfect moment to make the news prime-time television official.
Fittingly, Tully told her competitors and judges while waiting for Karen and Ros to serve their ‘Procreations’ instant restaurant meal on Wednesday night.
“Procreation is an interesting name because I’m actually pregnant,” she told group, who instantly burst out with cheers and congratulations.

Tully first shared the news of her pregnancy with New Idea in February, telling the publication she was missing her psychologist husband Kurt but found a lot of support when she did eventually inform the producers of the show.
“I’ve been sitting on this secret for a while now and I just feel like the powers of MKR are staring me in the face and I just feel like I’m going to burst,” she conceded in a piece-to-camera right before dropping the news in Wednesday night’s episode.
