Do You Like This Story?

Loud Shirt Day is a fun, one day event on Friday 21 October where you get to wear your brightest clothes and in the process raise money to help give the gift of sound and speech to deaf children.  Your donation will help the members of First Voice give deaf children sound and speech.

You’ll help open the door to a life in the world of sound, to opportunities for a full education, employment of choice, social integration with the hearing world and the chance to contribute to their community.

All First Voice centres receive only a portion of their funding from state and federal governments, and rely heavily on corporate and community support and fundraising to raise the funds necessary to deliver intensive therapy services to those families that need them.

I’ll be loud and proud. I’m a big fan of Jack. My daughter couldn’t even hold her arms like he can – after 9 years of tuition! He’s a natural and so stoked he has been helped so much through the Shepherd Centre.
