Real Housewives’ Lisa Oldfield responds after Victoria Rees said she "abused" her 13yo son.

Real Housewives of Sydney star Lisa Oldfield has come under fire for engaging in quite the social media debate with a fellow castmate’s teenage son.

After Oldfield claims the 13-year-old son of Victoria Rees “trolled” her on an Instagram photo, the 42-year-old took aim at the boy and his mother in since-deleted comments.

“Is your mother monitoring your social media activity?” Oldfield reportedly wrote in response to the 13-year-old. “Probably not. She’s probably on her 30th Skinny Bitch. It doesn’t matter where you come from or what you have, education is the great leveller.

“You need to work on that,” she said, adding: “In the meantime, ring your Dad, he loves you very much,” a reference to Rees’ single-status.

When asked about the catalyst for her comments, Oldfield told Mamamia she felt she should pull the 13-year-old up on his aggression and lack of “respect”.

“He wrote to me saying , ‘you’re just jealous because we are better than you. You’re a sook, whinger and a bully’.

“I hate the concept that anyone is better than anyone else. I teach my children we treat everyone equally. Victoria, on the other hand, is going around saying people from the Western suburbs are all bogans.

“I was horrified by that,  so I told him education is a great leveller. No-one is better than anyone.”

Oldfield said it was her intention to tell Rees' son to "stick in school" because his "spelling and grammar was terrible", that he shouldn't be "harassing adults" on the internet.

"I feel very sorry for that little boy.

"I think he needs to know that behaviour is unacceptable and I know his mother isn't going to pull him up on it," she says, adding that she believes Victoria is "using him" to troll her.

"What's disappointed me is that it shows what kind of person she is. She jumped up and down to Foxtel about me abusing her son, but she screenshotted and sent it to the Daily Telegraph which embarrasses him more.

"I didn't even abuse him, I pulled him up on his behaviour."

Talking to The Daily Telegraph, Rees said she was more than disappointed in her fellow castmate's actions.

“Bullying a child on social media is harmful. It’s reprehensible. As a parent Lisa Oldfield should know better,” Rees told the paper.

In regards to the comments Oldfield made about the 13-year-old needing to contact his father, Oldfield told Mamamia she was merely "encouraging him" because, from all reports, he has a "devoted dad".

Mamamia has reached out to Victoria Rees for comment on some of Oldfield's claims, but had not heard back by the time of publishing.
