The times of day men and women are horniest. Thanks a lot, biology.

It’s not good news.

A survey from a sex toy company has learned from 2,300 people (anonymously, on the Internet. So FACT)  found that men and women differ greatly in their daily peak of sexual desire.

Erotic toy brand Lovehoney assessed the data they received, and discovered a few things. Firstly, men peak in the morning, and women peak at night.

In fact, they were able to get very specific:

According to the data, women peak at 11.21pm, compared to the average male, who peaks at 7.54am.

As reported by the Daily Telegraph:

Only 16% of men said they regularly want sex before falling asleep, while a meagre 11% of women responded that they felt most passionate early in the morning.

Over half of the people surveyed said that they desired sex roughly the same amount as their partner, yet 44% of women and 33% of men reported that previous relationships had ended due to mismatched sex drives.

So what does this mean?

Though most couples reported being ‘willing’ to have sex at any time of day, both genders need to meet in the middle of their daily sexual desires. By ‘meet in the middle’, we don’t mean halfway between 11.21pm and 7.54am (which is about 3.37am… not overly desirable).

We mean, give both times of day a shot. Men, strip off your PJ’s. Ladies, put down your breakfast.

Enjoy. Anytime.
