Some of us are lucky enough to have one supportive mum in our life – but nutritionist Jaime Chambers has three.

Jaime is the daughter of former Australian Medical Association president and gay rights activist Dr Kerryn Phelps, but she also has a close mother-daughter relationship with both her parents’ new partners.

She spoke to Mamamia about her mother, who she considers to be her hero, and who taught her that love knows no boundaries, and no gender.
