Kids pose for photo. Don't realise 1976 murder victim is standing behind them.

Look, we’re not sure if this is real, but if it is – we are suffiently freaked out.

This story begins like any family outing would.

The Islam family spent the weekend away. They took an innocent photo in front of a ruin located in the UK city of Leeds.

And then thought nothing of it.

Later, when reviewing the photos they’d snapped, they realised they had been photobombed by an unexpected visitor.

A visitor of the GHOST variety.

Mr Islam said, “We waited for a clear point when no-one was there as they [the kids] wanted to hold their hands together. That’s why we’re sure there was no-one there. I didn’t think anything of it and took a few more,” the Daily Mail reports.

Look closely…

Before they could say ‘Casper the friendly ghost,’ shit got real.

Can you see it?

Are you scared yet?

AHHHHHH.

There IT is.

Mr Islam said that he was shocked when he saw the ghostly figure behind his niece and nephew.

He said: ‘I don’t even like watching scary films and I don’t like looking at this photo – it’s spooky, there was no one there. My sister took the photograph and she saw it first.

The ruin or ‘folly’ (to be exact) was originally built for the Nicholson family, who bought the Roundhay estate in 1803. Fancy.

Kevin Grady, director of the areas civic trust, said this was the first time any ghoulish activity had been recorded at the site.

He said, “Originally there was a wooden roof on top so there was an upper room which the Nicholson family would use. The folly was used as a family house, a sewing room by the girls and they had social functions there.”

The Islam family before all of this ghostly madness.

But wait, it get’s worse.

The park itself is also infamously known for being the location where the Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe snagged his third victim.

Spooky.

The naysayers of the Mamamia office are yelling PHOTOSHOP and the ghost enthusiasts are screaming PROOF AT LAST.

So we’re agreeing to disagree.
