Kristen Bell has discussed her birth plans in a hilarious interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
When asked by Ellen if she is going to have a natural childbirth, Kristen said:
“I’ve got nothing to prove. No way. I feel like when I arrive at the hospital I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back. And, I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it’s over because I’ve seen the videos and it looks terrifying.”
"But people do it again so it must not be that bad," Ellen said.
"I feel like maybe if you've had an enjoyable pregnancy," Bell responded. "Because I've had a lot of really good dopamine hormones. My self-esteem has never been higher. When I look in the mirror, I think it's like the reverse body dysmorphia. Because I can understand what my shape is but I see Brooke Shields and it doesn't make a lick of sense but something that the baby is giving me hormonally is making me really giggly and happy."
They also went on to talk all things sloth, with Ellen presenting Kristen with a baby sloth named Lola.
Ellen also gave her a basket of sloth-themed baby gifts. Bell's reaction?
"Who cares about the baby!" she said as she stared at Lola.
