Hundreds of Tigerair passengers have been left stranded after the airline cancelled all flights in and out of Bali due to a dispute with the Indonesian government.

Flights departing in the early hours of Friday have also been cancelled, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded, while five remaining flights to and from Bali are being reviewed.

4. Donald Trump slams media outlets for reporting “fake news” about his links to Russia.

US President-elect Donald Trump has slammed media outlets for reporting “fake news” that Russia had damaging personal and financial information about him and was holding it against him.

In a press conference, Trump told journalists that reports that he was “cultivated” by Russia were untrue and attacked the media outlets that reported on the alleged leaked document, CNN and BuzzFeed.

“Buzzfeed is a failing pile of garbage and they’re going to pay the consequences,” Trump said.

“I think it’s a disgrace that information would be let out.

“It’s all fake news, it’s phony stuff, it doesn’t happen…”

Two US officials said on Tuesday that the allegations were contained in a memo attached to a report on Russian interference in the 2016 election that was presented last week to Trump and to President Barack Obama.

The 35-page dossier lays out all of the allegations, including that the Russian regime “has been cultivating, supporting and assisting Trump for at least five years”, reports.

Trump’s policy to strengthen US ties to Russia had been criticised after US intelligence agencies concluded that Russia used cyber attacks and other tactics to try to help Trump win over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

Her parents had previously told police Ashley had gone to lay down in the back of the restaurant and had dissapeared when they checked on her later, leading police to believe she must have wandered out the back door.

Zhao was charged with complicity to commit felonious assault and complicity to murder, while Chen was charged with murder and felonious assault.

Engineers will inspect the Movie World roller coaster after a malfunction left ride-goers dangling for more than 90 minutes.

Twenty patrons were stuck at the top of the Arkham Asylum ride on Wednesday afternoon after carriages became stuck.

More than an hour and a half later all the passengers were rescued.

Movie World general manager Greg Yong said the ride would remain closed while the company investigated how “mechanical issue with the chain” caused the roller coaster to stop, AAP reports.

“We don’t see it being closed for an extended period of time but I can’t really tell you any more until we do a full analysis,” he said on Wednesday.

“These kind of mechanical issues are something that takes a little bit of time for us to investigate.”
