After teasing the public with his album annoucement, Justin Timberlake recently released the first single off his new album The 20/20 Experience, "Suit & Tie." Though it doesn't have as obvious a hook as something like "Sexy Back" or "Cry Me A River" does, "Suit & Tie" is pretty catchy. Watch it here:
It's not a full-blown music video, but honestly we think that this is a better fit for "Suit & Tie" than the alternative would have been. The highly stylised video shows Timberlake dressed to the nines, driving around classic cars and smoking a cigar. Wait? Smoking? Didn't that stop being cool to advertise in the eighties?
Timberlake is definitely channelling some Sinatra in "Suit & Tie", and if anything, maybe this video was Timberlake's way to show the world that he has grown up instead of a more poppy, hip-hop based song like some of his other tracks.
Timberlake will also hit the big screen in a new Coen brothers movie Inside Llewyn Davis. Timberlake can only be seen in it for a grand total of maybe five seconds, but the film looks fantastic. Watch the trailer below:
