Julianne Moore robbed of $127,000 worth of jewellry

Julianne Moore has lost some of her red-carpet bling. The Emmy-winning actress has reportedly had $127,000 worth of jewellry stolen from her New York City brownstone apartment.

Ten pieces of jewellry were stolen in total, seven of them being from Cartier. Police confirm to E! News that the items were taken between June 6 and August 28. The New York Post reports that Moore, 51, was in Toronto filming Carrie at the time of the theft.

Moore's assistant filed a report about the stolen jewellry with police on October 1. The apartment had been under construction over the summer, so between 15 and 25 workers have had access to Moore's home with her husband Bart Freundlich and their two children. It's clearly not a property Moore feels especially close to, as The New York Times claims that it's been listed on the market twice in the past year.

Of the jewels stolen, one was a $33,000 Cartier platinum diamond tennis bracelet and four were Cartier watches worth a combined $77,800. No arrests have been made at this time, but police say the investigation is ongoing.
