Behold, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux just shared a very rare couple selfie.

In a world of Kylie Jenner’s belfies and Mariah Carey’s staged snaps, it’s hard to believe there’s a celebrity who isn’t on social media sharing every aspect of their lives with fans.

Jennifer Aniston is one such star who doesn’t take joy in sharing endless selfies – she doesn’t even have a social media account to share them on.

Perhaps that’s why her husband’s birthday post is sparking so much excitement among fans.

Justin Theroux shared a rare photo of he and wife Aniston for her 48th birthday and you can kind of tell he’s out of practice in the selfie department.

Yep, we’ve been so deprived of duck-face-pouted posts from 48-year-old actress that even this blurry snap has gained more than 33,000 likes and 1400 comments.

The 45-year-old captioned the image of the pair surrounded by palm trees with the simple message of ‘HBDJ❤ XO’.

It’s not the first selfie the pair have shared, in December 2015 we caught a glimpse of the pair on the slopes. Again, it wasn’t the best quality.

Aniston has previously spoken about her pursuit of privacy despite merciless hounding by paparazzi, but said her reason for not being on social media is more to do with her age.

“It’s not my generation… it’s not my thing,” she told reporter Kjersti Flaa in an interview alongside Mother’s Day co-star Jason Sudeikis in 2016.

“People are way to into these phones.”
