haha fair enough! It really is a good show though if you like this kind of genre. I get put off by certain titles at times as well… I only clicked on this one because I was bored whilst my toddler was having a nap and I’d rifled through every other possibility… probably on every social medium. Normally Gwyneth is right up there with J Lo, Nigerian long-lost relatives and emails screaming YOU OWE MONEY as far as auto ignore is concerned. I’m glad I watched it though. The Jane Fonda and Zoe Saldana parts really hit home. Seriously I have a mad crush on Jane now who I think is 73 or so??? Meh, don’t care. LOVE her. You will too. But only if you watch at least the beginning

The put off for me is the “MUST SEE” in the title. MM overuses this and , like the villagers who listened to the boy who cried wolf, I am ignoring all MM articles which tell me I MUST SEE or read or watch or do anything.

I’m so stunned this only has 19 comments so far. Truly this is one of the best shows solely for women that I ever recall watching. Is the Gwyneth title a put off? (I get that because I thought she was a snobbed up sour puss with lentil up her nose before watching this too. Don’t even get me started on the Madge, faux-British accent or Goop things.)

But seriously women: Even if you can’t stand Gwyneth, watch Jane!!!!!!!!! I always thought Jane was a bit of a fruit loop but not any more. She’s at the beginning. And then skip Gwynnie (although I really don’t think you should) and dive into Sarah Silverman. And then after that you’ll be rewarded with the biggest cherry on top ever: Zoe Saldana reminding us why we’re as glorious and strong as we allow ourselves to be.

Ohhh and luscious Amanda. Witty, honest, with one boob looking at you and one boob looking for you Amanda. She is a dream interviewer – even when I felt she was talking over the others, at least she was sharing her own crap. Instead of botoxiling and nodding her way through the whole thing. Such a delight.

So do I have this right – if Gwyneth criticises the choices of other mums (famous or not) then it’s “brave” but when other women do it then it’s “judgement”? Sorry Lu, but that sounds pretty dubious logic to me. Her comments are immensely hypocritical.
