The Bachelorette Georgia Love has landed herself a sparkly new job.

When Georgia Love decided to quit her job to pursue romance on The Bacheloretteshe didn’t come home empty handed. But she did come home unemployed.

While the former WIN Hobart newsreader has been fairly pragmatic about her chances of returning to the news desk after her emotional turn on reality TV, she could be back on our screens sooner than expected.

The 27-year-old has landed a gig as a presenter and panelist on Studio Ten during the Summer non ratings period, with Channel Ten confirming the appointment to Fairfax Media this morning.

Basically, it means the network can see how audiences respond to her without affecting the show’s ratings, which at present lag behind their morning TV competitors at Sunrise and Today.

If all goes well, Love could settle into a permanent position alongside Sarah Harris, Joe Hildebrand, Ita Buttrose and Jessica Rowe.

Now this is obviously great news and congratulations are certainly in order, but before we go popping the champers there is one teenie tiny problem: Studio 10 is filmed in Pyrmont, Sydney.

It’s so hard to know what to say in this instance. What I’d originally thought I’d be posting today was a gushy message all about love, butterflies, fireworks and just how happy @leeroyelliott makes me every day and how lucky I feel to have found the love of my life through this crazy experience. And while all of this couldn’t be more true, it’s not the most important thing to say right now. What should be one of the most exciting weeks of my life has instead turned into one of the hardest with my family going through something no one ever wants to face. But a small solace I can find in this extremely difficult time is that I have this amazing man by my side and for that I feel so lucky. He’s been so incredibly supportive and loving and managed to make me smile and laugh every day despite everything else. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us and followed my story. The messages of love and support have been overwhelming and so so humbling. Thank you thank you, from the bottom of my heart ❤️

If Love is forced to relocate interstate it could mean a long distance relationship with new partner Lee Elliot, with the pair currently based in Melbourne, or a complete move all together.

Melbourne is a city  both Georgia and Lee repeatedly vocalised their affection for during the courting process. But at the end of the day, Sydney would look great on both of them.

Congratulations on the new gig, Georgia.
