smoothfm has recently launched in Sydney and Melbourne, playing a smooth blend of your favourite greatest hits and easy listening music.

When you live in a busy city, it can get pretty hectic trying to juggle work, life, family and a whole number of other things.   But that’s where smoothfm comes in – your new favourite place to relax and unwind.

Whether you’re listening at home, at work or in the car with your children, smoothfm is a warm, friendly and relaxed environment for you to enjoy.

Our ‘More Music and Less Talk’ mantra means forgetting the hassles of the day is as simple as tuning in to 95.3 in Sydney or 91.5 in Melbourne.

From Michael Bublé, Jason Mraz and Adele to Abba, Elton John, and the Bee Gees, these are just some of the artists you will hear on smoothfm.

With an already fantastic line-up, you can start your mornings with the More Music Breakfast show, and Wind Down with David Reyne from 8pm.

Smooth3 More music less talkYou can also catch up with well known identities across the weekend including David Campbell, Jason Donovan and Richard Wilkins, providing the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing weekend.

International musician Michael Bublé is also part of the smoothfm line-up – after all, he’s the King of Smooth, so who better to join us in launching smoothfm than Michael Bublé himself.

Michael is genuinely excited to be part of the new station, he said “this is a match made in heaven. smoothfm is supporting my music so I’m thrilled to be jumping on board to be part of the station launches. I love Australia and I look forward to seeing you when I’m next down”.

You can hear Michael Buble on air Saturday mornings from 9am – 10am.  Watch the man in action in the new smoothfm TV commercial:

You guys lost me when I heard “You’ve got a friend” twice in a 48 hour period. Surely you can get through a weekend without repeating such tired old crap. If Smooth means old and daggy, you’ve nailed it.
