Don’t know if you’ve heard, but there’s a serious saliva-fuelled kissing battle going on in Pop Music right now. It’s getting pretty brutal. Let us walk you through it.
The players are sparkly pop queen Katy Perry and nudity fan Miley Cyrus.
Katy was in the front row at one of Miley’s concerts when the singers locked lips for the first time. It was passionate, brief, and very, very popular.
And as you can see from this grainy, midnight blue footage, Katy went in for what she thought was a polite peck… And Miley got that famous tongue of hers involved. If you squint, you can see that Katy wipes her mouth dramatically afterwards and Miley pulls back, shocked and rejected.
The next missile in this kiss-fight came when Katy Perry flew to Australia last week. She dropped by brekky TV show Sunrise for a chat, cuddles with koalas, and a guest-role reading forecasts as a weather girl.
When she was asked about the public pash, Katy screwed up her face and said “I just walked up to her to give her a friendly kiss, you know, as us girls do. And then she tried to like move her head and go deeper, and I pulled away. God knows where that tongue has been.”
