This, ladies and gentlemen, is the viral video about viral videos that is about to go VIRAL.
Still with us? Seriously though, this video is hilarious.
If YouTube had a complaints desk – where people could come and voice their concerns about the ‘Sh*t girls say’ videos, the dad who shoots hit daughter’s computer and the infinite number of videos that are simply titled ‘boobs’ – we can only imagine this is what it would be like.
Do you have a favourite YouTube video? If you were about the complain to YouTube what would you say?

Dear Youtube
Thanks a lot – because of you I have to constantly patrol my classroom like a drill sargeant to make sure my students are on task and not watching ’10 Best Ever Skateboarding Fails’ or episodes of Mr Bean.
However, Youtube, I thank you for allowing full episodes of History Channel programs – so you’re off the hook (for now)

Spelling and grammar mistakes do happen, but when they’re popping up in most posts I think it’s time to hire someone to check the posts before publication. I get the feeling that a lot of people are being left with the irritating impression of regular trivial grammar / spelling flaws rather than the positive impression of mamamia as a publication I’m sure they would mostly have in the absence of such regular errors.
It really does break up the flow of these pieces in an unnecessarily annoying way.

For the love of God, please give your posts a read through before you post them.

Whats wrong with it?

Because they wrote image instead of imagine?
I think someone needs to watch this video about unnecessary complaining…

Note sure if it’s unnecessary. There are actually two typos “hit daugher” instead of “his daughter” as well as “image” instead of “imagine”. This is an online publication of sorts and a reasonable standard would be in line with Mia’s pedigree..as well as the rest of the team I’m sure. I guess I am saying this in the hope it is constructive feedback rather than a complaint because I am noticing a lot more of this kind of thing lately….but I do understand MM is going through a time of change too.

I just think it’s kind of superfluous to constantly post comments that point out spelling mistakes… They happen all the time in all sorts of publications and to everyone. If you get what I’m saying.
No one’s perfect!

Hi and thanks for your reply. I understand where you are coming from. I am in media…publications both mag and online..and quite simply it wasn’t that long ago that a spelling mistake in a publication was considered quite embarressing for an editor and their copy department. No-one is perfect but in publishing spelling mistakes (not to grammar and decent editing) are a big no-no. Standards are slipping…and I understand the more casual nature of the digital medium…(me very casual) but I am just trying to encourage folks like MM to keep an eye on once proud standards. I hope I don’t sound bloody pompous but it really is a pretty standard benchmark in publishing and I pesonally hope it doesn’t change that much!

JM, there is a typo in your post. “Note” instead of “not.” See, no one is perfect.
