Gwyneth still talks to her dad - years after he died.

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed she regularly chats to her late father’s wedding ring and feels like the ring “keeps her safe.”

In the interview with UK’s The Sun, she said:

“I always hold on to his wedding ring. I ask it questions, I feel like it keeps me safe. I really sense the energy of his soul, I don’t think that evaporates.

“I feel my dad, I still feel his love, I still speak to him and I still love him.”

Her father Bruce died in 2002 from throat cancer. She’s often said his death – which she attributes to smoking – propelled her to live a healthy lifestyle.

“Half the reason my life is good and has real, true value is that he died. I’d obviously rather have him alive, but he gave me so much in his death,” she said in that same interview.

In other Gwyneth news this week, she’s denied rumors that she used a ghostwriter on her new cookbook, My Father’s Daughter.
