1. The Today Show experienced some rather severe technical difficulties on Thursday morning, with the audio deck in the studio breaking down. But the cast and crew were very much up to the challenge, laughing along with the absurdity of the situation. This was the (HILARIOUS) result:

A spokesperson for the network said: “Our production team moved quickly and managed to move the show into our news studios in record time.

“Not surprisingly, the on air team have had tremendous fun with this morning’s hiccups with Georgie giving the glass walls a quick windex wipe and Karl joking with our viewers that it was not so much a technical breakdown as it was a power outage due to all of Dickie’s hair appliances.””

2. Rihanna and Kate Moss have starred in a lesbian, S&M themed photo shoot for V magazine. Why? Excellent question. But really, who even needs an excuse to get naked/don crotchless pants and pose with whips and a mate. We do that when the kids are at Saturday morning sport. Standard practice really.

3. In another case of “photoshoots we can’t explain”,  supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio has posed for an advertising campaign with her 4 year old daughter. Naked. To advertise for a clothing company called London Fog. Naked. To sell clothes… We don’t get it either.

Incidentally, Alessandra is best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret, who held their annual fashion parade this week. Flick through the images to see the models playing dress-ups on the catwalk. There’s a bicycle (complete with streamers on the handle bars), a sexy neurosurgeon and even something that appears to be a toddler’s play pen/bubble skirt:

4. Scarlett Johansson has invested in a new tattoo. The actress commissioned French tattoist and graffiti artist Fuzi Uvtpk to create the tattoo for her while she was in Paris last week.

5. Leonardo DiCaprio is selling his house. Well, one of his houses anyway (don’t you wish you had to make THAT distinction more often?) And if you’ve got a spare US $23million lying around, then you can probably snap up this beachside Malibu bachelor pad. The Aussie dollar is strong against the greenback right now…

Take a look:

The actor bought the house – which features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a deck and even a fire pit – in 2002 for just $6 million. Can’t get enough of perving on celebrity homes? We’ve got lots more for you here – and you can even look inside their wardrobes here.

Wow, first time visitor and why did I know about this wonderful site. Sitting in North QLD getting drenched and finding this is a great way to divert what is really going on in my part of Australia. Well done Mamamia!

I just needed somewhere to voice my despair over teen fashion today! I went to Supre wit my 13 year old daughter, sister-in-law and her 12 year old daughter, who had birthday money she wanted to spend. After an hour and a half we managed somehow to leave with 10 items of clothing that will actually cover the girl’s bodies (especially when we insist they add leggings to short skirts and singlets under tops with arm holes that reach their hips!)
I just hope that by the time they “develop” physically, the fashion trends resemble “classic”Taylor Swift and not “Kiss my a#@” Kesha! Oh what a world we live in!

I agree, fashion for tweens is pretty horrendous Jane. I took my nieces to Target & Kmart to lay-by clothes for xmas. The quality of clothes is a little better and more of a selection. I try and lead by example (not saying you dont) but it’s hard for them when “everyone” else is wearing it. My childhood wardrobe consisted of mostly homemade clothes plus tracksuit and stirrup pants, pretty dresses and some colourful t-shirts. My youngest niece is really into fashion, hopefully she won’t be a devout trend follower as she gets older.

I think the tatt looks like crap, but I get the art behind it. As long as she’s happy with it…at least it’s in a relatively inconspicuous place, not on her shoulder or arm or anything….

Scarlett Johansson’s tattoo looks like the type primary school kids draw on each other’s arms for fun. It looks so amateurish! Doesn’t she have a rather ordinary looking sun rise on her forearm as well?

I really don’t like the bashing the Victoria’s Secret girls get on here. One thing i admire is that Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes are all mothers and nearing their 30′s but are still modelling the brand. Not many companies would do that right?

Miranda Kerr is so healthy and has an amazing diet. I certainly won’t sit here and bag them when i myself ate Oporto for dinner.

Scarlett’s tattoo however, not a fan. Seems trashy.

I remember watching the Victoria’s Secret fashion show last year and thinking how amazing they looked; because they looked healthy, toned, muscled, and fit as hell; like athletes. They didn’t look concave, emancipated, or bony. Which I thought was fantastic. So these girls can work out like hell and end up looking like that, good for them :D

Is her tattoo meant to be bad? The lines are really shaky and the words aren’t centre.

Tattoos are soooooooooooo gross! Low rent, bogan, foul. And does Victoria Beckham have the hairy, downy back of an anorexic or does it just look that way?
