Gwyneth Paltrow only lets her children watch television in foreign languages. Gwyneth will only let her kids sit in front of a screen if they’re watching programs in French or Spanish instead of their native English, which she said makes eight-year-old Apple “cross”.

Well, we’d be cranky too if we only got to watch TV in a language we didn’t understand. Just saying.

One of world’s best known singers has confirmed her first pregnancy and we know it must be true because HIPS DON’T LIE (Sorry… the pun was there for the taking). 35-year-old Shakira announced on her website that she and her partner, Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique, are expecting their first child.

It’s a happy news day today because we also have an engagement to report – Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson (who plays Mitchell Prichard) has proposed to his boyfriend of two years, Justin Mikita and Justin has accepted. Hurrah!

And to make it a trifecta of happy news: a wedding! Scottish singer/songwriter Annie Lennox has married for the third time. According to People, the 57-year-old got married last Saturday in London, to American gynecologist Dr. Mitch Besser.

The private ceremony took place with 150 friends on a private boat on the Thames River; Lennox’s  daughters were her bridesmaids. The bride wore a long white gown with lace bolero shrug and a vintage 1920s-style headpiece.

Lindsay Lohan gets arrested. Again. It’s been reported that 26-year-old Lindsay (affectionately known by her friends in the paparazzi and entertainment news business as LiLo) was parking her Porsche Cayenne in an alleyway near the Dream Hotel in New York City when she allegedly clipped the knee of a man. Lindsay then walked in to the Dream without checking in with the man. She’s since been arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.

However, Lindsay is alleging that there’s something “really fishy” going on with the story – since it doesn’t exactly line up with her own version of events. You can head on over here to see the story she’s telling her friends.
