They’ve been married for nine years, but now they’re officially calling it quits. It has been reported that Russell Crowe and wife Danielle Spencer have separated after nine years of marriage. Her rep has confirmed the split.

Apparently, the separation was amicable and the couple are most concerned with protecting their two sons – Charles, who is 8, and Tennyson, who is 6.

The children will remain with Spencer in Sydney while Crowe continues filming his biblical blockbuster, Noah, in the US, according to today’s Sydney Morning Herald.

Crowe, 48, has reportedly thrown himself into his work following the break-up.

The news is a shock as the couple were thought to have had a solid marriage.

However, the demands of Crowe’s acting career may have been a factor in the split. He has been away from Spencer and his children for much of the past year, filming Man with the Iron Fist, Les Miserables, Broken City, Man of Steel and Noah.

In one of the more bizarre photo shoots we’ve seenm well, so far this week, Lizzie Jagger – daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall -  has stripped off and posed naked while straddling a very large yellowfin tuna. In another picture, the model is shown with her mother, Jerry Hall, as they hold a couple of fish over their breasts.

But don’t worry – it’s all for a good cause. Apparently, the images are to draw attention to overfishing, and are part of the FISHLOVE campaign -  devised by actress Greta Scacchi and shot by Rankin – in favour of sustainable fishing.

Ronan Keating’s ex-girlfriend has made some startling admissions about the affair that ended the singer’s marriage. 

Ronan is set to divorce Yvonne, the mother of his three children – reportedly after she discovered his year-long fling with dancer Francine Cornell. The pair met while Francine was performing for Ronan’s boyband Boyzone in 2009, and shared a year-long fling.

Speaking to The Sun, Francine recalls how she tried to persuade Ronan to work on his marriage of 14-years and save his family.

“He was the one who pursued me, most definitely, I made the mistake of falling for it and not having the strength to walk away.”

“I never asked Ronan to leave Yvonne. He was the one who’d bring it up. He’d say, ‘It’s you I love, you’re the one I want to be with. I love Yvonne as she’s the mother of my kids, yet I’m in love with you.

“But I can’t do this to my children’. Once I asked, ‘Do you think I’ll still see your name on my phone in 20 years’? He said, ‘In 20 years, we will be married’. At the time it was nice and I think it’s what he believed.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have bought themselves an early wedding present – matching tattoos. And what’s more, their new tattoos are corresponding Theodore Roosevelt quotes. Oh yes – the pair decided on some presidential wisdom (from a speech given in 1910) to decorate their arms.
