Fake Delta Goodrem has been in a world of pain lately. Staff at Madame Tussauds in Sydney have reported that Delta’s wax figurine is suffering almost daily vandalism. Studio manager Zoe Walton said:

“She needs an awful lot of care and attention, shall we say. While minor scratches and abrasions are common across all the 70-plus mannequins, Delta needs the most TLC from staff. She’s quite famous for her eyelashes and her heavy mascara look so people like to tug out her eyelashes quite often.”

Real Life Delta has fared little better, with the singer forced to bow out of her Sydney concert halfway through, after suffering nasty burns on a steam machine backstage. Delta apologised to the audience, saying “I’m really sorry, I can’t do this. I feel like I’m going to faint.”

In a statement, she said: “Unfortunately the pain and effects from treating the burns got greater and greater as the night progressed and ultimately there came a point that I could not continue performing. I want everyone to know that I am recovering well and will be in fine form for my forthcoming Melbourne shows next week. Thank you again for your support and understanding.”

Ouch. Stay away from steam machines, Delta!

Recently re-formed 90’s band No Doubt released their latest music video over the weekend. Sadly, their comeback has not gotten off to a very good start, considering that they had to pull the video less than a day later.

The video features lead singer Gwen Stefani and her bandmates dancing around teepees and wearing headdresses, and hasattracted criticism that it was offensive to Native Americans.

The band apologised to their fans in a statement, saying: “As a multi-racial band our foundation is built upon both diversity and consideration for other cultures. Our intention with our new video was never to offend, hurt or trivialize Native American people, their culture or their history.”

Watch out Victoria’s Secret models –  Leonardo DiCaprio is single once again, READY TO MINGLE and you know that you’re his type. The 37-year-old actor has broken up with his girlfriend of ten months, 23-year-old model Erin Heatherton.

“They split a few weeks ago,” a source told Us Weekly. “There’s no bad blood -– they still care about each other a lot.”

Packed To The Rafters star Jessica Marais reckons she is in no rush to lose her post-baby body curves. The actress, who has a six-month old baby named Scout, said she hasn’t let herself get “sucked into” the body-image obsession of her new home, Los Angeles.

“LA is an intense industry town and there’s a side of it that’s superficial,” Marais said.

“But I surround myself with the kind of people who don’t let me get sucked into that.

“It’s not just Hollywood that pressures women it’s the world now, it reaches us everywhere. If I didn’t buy into it in Australia, I won’t here.”

Not only is Derby Day one of the biggest events in horse racing, it’s also one of the best days for celeb style stalking. Aside from the traditional black and white Derby Day theme, this year, peplum – the clever little frill that extends from your waist to hips (or just above) was the most consistent look at Flemington.
