Fluff: David Jones Autumn Winter Fashion Launch 2013

1. Last night saw the launch of David Jones’ Autumn/Winter 2013 collection.

Models such as Miranda Kerr and Megan Gale showcased over 230 looks by 37 designers, including Alex Perry, Collette Dinnigan, Rachel Gilbert and Zimmerman.

No fashion show is complete without a controversy – and this year, everyone was talking about Miranda opening the show dressed in a tan dress from Ellery, a designer who recently jumped ship from Myer in an alleged breach of contract.

2. Russell Brand defends his ex-wife Katy Perry’s vagina. This you have to see.

3. Buzzfeed is in trouble with Beyonce. The popular culture website has published a story titled “The 33 Fierciest Moments from Beyonce’s Halftime Show”, featuring some images that have been deemed very unflattering by the celebrity.

The website received a call and email from Beyonce’s publicist, Yevette, who asked if they could “respectfully” change some of the images. “I am certain that you will be able to find some better photos,” Yvette wrote. “The worst (pictures) are #5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19 and 22.”

We hear you sister. Nobody likes an unflattering photo. Here at Mamamia we won’t put them up because there is a lot of Beyonce love here at our office (but if you wish to see the offending images, go here)

5. David Beckham stripping. That’s all you need to know about this video:

For those interested in the purpose behind this clip, the video is a new short film that’s been released to promote Beckham’s new Bodywear line for H&M. It’s directed by Guy Ritchie and stars (well, obviously) the 37-year-old Beckham, who is possibly the only man alive that can pull out a wedgie and make it look hot.

6. This video is guaranteed to make you clucky. Watch and see (but hold on to your ovaries – ours nearly burst).

7. Jennifer Lawrence, the 22-year-old star of The Hunger Games and Silver Linings Playbook, has confessed that she’s become a bit of a stalker. Her target? 49-year-old John Stamos, also known as Uncle Jesse from Full House.

While on American talk show Conan this week, Jennifer said: “He was at a party, and I turned into a perverted guy. I was like following him into rooms and staring at his ass. I lost my mind.”

“I didn’t want to meet him because when I meet people it’s never good, and I was avoiding him. But then my friends brought him over because my friends are jerks, and I started really freaking out. And he asked me if I was on mushrooms and I said, ‘No. I’m dead sober. This is just me.’

“I just kept smiling and being like, ‘Dude. . . Uncle Jesse.’”

But apparently John didn’t mind too much – when Nick Jonas tweeted “I envy you,” to John, he replied with, “I envy myself!”
